BUSINESS PERMITS FOR FOREIGN INVESTMENT

Based on the Job Creation Law Number 11 of 2020 and Government Regulation Number 5 of 2021 concerning the Implementation of Risk-Based Business Licensing, business actors can obtain business licenses through the Online Single Submission Risk Based Approach (OSS RBA). After obtaining a Business Permit in the form of a Business Identification Number (NIB), Based on the Regulations of the Head of the Batam Concession Agency Numbers 24 and 25 of 2021, Business Actors who will carry out activities of entering or releasing goods to and from the Batam Free Trade Area and Free Port of Batam must first have a Permit Area Business.

The types of Zone Business Permits are as follows:

1. Business Permit for Outside Customs Area (IUK LDP)

2. Business Permit for Areas of Other Places in the Customs Area (IUK TLDDP)

3. Cooperation Contract Contractor Area Business Permit (IUK K3S)

4. Temporary Area Business Permit for Certain Activities (IUK SUKT)

5. Logistics Area Business License
